reports are filtered in that Google has begun shipping the CR-48 at testers eager that so far has been with empty hands after registering for the units in December. Is it possible? It is the portable Chrome OS brave prototype obtained a stay of execution after being declared all dried up in March? It is highly unlikely, given the imminent release of netbooks Samsung and Acer we saw advertised during the Google I/O. Seems much more likely that the company is only exhausted the supply, so if signed until the end of last year and not received one, but I would not recommend holding the breath.[Thanks to everyone who sent this]
